Master’s Degree
To help you plan your coursework effectively and maximize your learning experience, we suggest the following sequence:
- Take PHA 6125 (Introduction to Quantitative Pharmacology) during your first summer semester. This course is a prerequisite for several core courses – PHA 6122 (Population PK/PD), PHA 6131 (PBPK Modeling), and PHA 6123 (QSP Modeling). Since PHA 6125 is not offered every semester, we recommend taking it at your earliest opportunity.
- Plan to take PHA 6418 (Introduction to Model-Informed Drug Development) in your second year. This course is based on real-world case examples and will be most beneficial if you are already familiar with the methodologies covered in earlier courses.
- For students interested in Pharmacoeconomics electives: Start with PHA 6283 (Introduction to Pharmacoeconomics), which is a prerequisite for PHA 6806 (Pharmacoeconomic Modeling).
